The Largest Boating Event at the Lake is BACK!!

Another great season at the Lake of the Ozarks is underway and that means it's time for one of our favorite annual events, Aquapalooza! The Lake's largest family boating event will be held on July 21st a Dog Days Bar & Grill.

The Lake of the Ozarks Marine Dealers Association invites all boaters to join them for a great day on the water at the 19 mile marker of the Lake of the Ozarks. Live music and activities will keep you having fun all day long!

Aquapalooza 2018

Hundreds of boats with thousands of people will line up in the water in front of Dog Days Bar & Grill for the largest on the water concert of the year! Come experience it for yourself. Check out this video for a taste of what you can expect at Aquapalooza 2018:

2018 Artist Lineup

The 2018 lineup will feature: Chad Bearden, i-Berrys, Ryan Collins Band and Goddesses of Rock. Learn more about these bands below:

Chad Bearden

Chad Bearden is a country artist from a small town in northern Alabama. He currently has an EP out with five songs on it. These songs combine Chad's country lyrics with an urban production and progressive melodies to create a sound all it's own. His lyrics incorporate life experiences that people can really relate to.

i-Berrys

Voted BEST Band at the Lake of the Ozarks, the i-Berrys Band is a 9-piece regional show band. The music and the show is unlike anything you've ever seen before, and it quickly becomes a favorite with every audience. They provide a unique, fun music experience that combines Irish, Celtic, Pop, Funk, Country and Rock with a little humor and style!

Ryan Collins Band

Missouri born and raised, Ryan Collins resides in Nashville, but hasn't forgotten his roots. This country music singer takes his love for music seriously, and he took it to the next step by forming a band. He brought together 4 life long friends to create a magnetic dynamic of talented musicians. Together they form a strong bond which leads to an original sound and energetic stage presence.

Goddesses of Rock

This year's headliner for Aquapalooza is the Goddesses of Rock! This band offers a tribute to female music icons. Dr. Zhivegas Memorial Day Weekend
Head over to the Horny Toad Entertainment Complex this Memorial Day Weekend as Dr. Zhivegas hits the outdoor stage to kick off the summer season. Music will run from 8pm to 12 am each night, May 25-27.

Dinner Theater
Enjoy dinner and a show at the Camden County Museum, May 25-26. The show is “Give My Regards To Broadway” by George M. Cohan. Dinner starts at 6 pm each night, and showtime is 7 pm. Alabama Live in Concert
ALABAMA is the band that changed everything. They brought country music to the mainstream and from side stage to the main stage. ALABAMA introduced rock style guitars, lights, pyrotechnics and sounds to the country audience. They have charted 43 #1 singles including 21 #1 singles in a row, a record that will likely never be surpassed in any genre. Come see them LIVE at the Ozarks Amphitheater on Saturday, May 26th at 7 pm.

The Laurie Easter egg hunt attracts children from tots to teens to find 14,000 eggs hidden throughout the Laurie Fairgrounds. The Easter bunny always makes an appearance to the delight of everyone. The event will run from 2-3 pm on Saturday, March 31st.

Linn Creek Easter Egg Hunt

Head over to the Linn Creek City Park on Saturday, March 31st from 12-2 pm for an Easter egg hunt for children of all ages. Start time is 1 pm and everyone is welcome. There will be a bouncy house, and Easter bunny, as well as police vehicles and firetrucks for the children to view.

Easter Brunch & Egg Hunt at The Lodge of Four Seasons

FEBRUARY 17: 17th Annual Mardi Gras Pub Crawl

The biggest party of the year is back in 2018! This year's Mardi Gras Pub Crawl will feature over a dozen local bars and restaurants. Wristbands are $10 and get you into each venue. Leave the keys at home as the buses will take you safely from stop to stop. Enjoy live music and entertainment at each of the various locations on the 2018 Mardi Gras Pub Crawl map!

MAY 4-6: 30th Annual Magic Dragon Street Meet Nationals

The Magic Dragon Street Meet Nationals is a unique show for all makes, models and years of show vehicles, trucks and motorcycles. The event takes place along the historic Bagnell Dam Strip, which is closed to normal traffic during the show. It's an absolutely electric atmosphere, and one event you don't want to miss!

MAY 5: 21st Annual Spring Harbor Hop

Kick off the 2018 boating season by participating in the 21st Annual Spring Harbor Hop at the Lake of the Ozarks. At the Lake's largest poker run on the water, you'll be able to choose from over 40 of the best waterfront restaurants and marinas to stop at. Collect cards at each stop to create a winning poker hand. Prizes are awarded to the winners and anyone can play!

MAY 30 - JUNE 3: Lake Race 2018

Enjoy 5 days of action-packed powerboat and racing themed events at the Lake of the Ozarks. A variety of festivities, including street parties and meet & greets with the racers, lead up to a weekend of powerboat racing! The official viewing spot for the races is Beavers at the Dam, but fun can be had all along the Bagnell Dam Strip the entire weekend.

JUNE 8-10: The Canine Cannonball

The Annual Dock Dogs jumping contest will be held at Dog Days Bar & Grill again this year. Canine athletes will compete in Big Air, Extreme Vertical and Speed Retrieve at this family-friendly event.

JULY 21: Aquapalooza

The Lake's largest family boating event is happening July 21st at Dog Days Bar & Grill. All boaters are invited for a great day on the water featuring live music and other activities. They're still finalizing the 2018 music lineup, but it's sure to be even better than last years set! Take your boat to the 19 MM, just West of the Grand Glaize Bridge, tie up and make some new friends while enjoying this huge on-the-water party!

AUGUST 25-26: 30th Annual Lake of the Ozarks Shootout

Mark your calendars for the largest unsanctioned boat race in the Midwest! The event will bring top powerboat racers and off shore power boats from across the country, topping 200 MPH. Proceeds from the event benefit Lake Area Rescue Teams and other charitable organizations. Make a whole week of it, as there are fun racing themed events happening all week long leading up to the races!

SEPTEMBER 12-16: 12th Annual Lake of the Ozarks Bikefest

The largest biker event at the Lake of the Ozarks will be back in 2018, bigger and better than ever! The 28th Annual Magic Dragon Street Meet Nationals is a unique show for all makes, models, and years of show vehicles, trucks and motorcycles. We bring over 28 years of show experience to the historic Bagnell Dam Strip at the Lake of the Ozarks.

20th Annual Spring Harbor Hop - May 6

One of the Lake of the Ozarks largest events of the year! Kick off the boating season by participating in the 20th Annual Spring Harbor Hop. Dozens of the Lake's best restaurants and marinas will be set up as checkpoints for participants to draw a card and try to win the best and worst hands. Prizes are awarded to winners, and anyone can play!

Lake Race 2017 - June 1-4

Enjoy 4 days of huge powerboat racing events at the Lake of the Ozarks, starting June 1st 2017. Thursday is the Festival of Speed on Osage Beach Parkway, West of the Grand Glaize Bridge. Friday is the Lake Race Meet & Greet Street Party on the Bagnell Dam Strip. The official races will be on Saturday, with the awards ceremony to follow. Sunday is the 5K run, as well as the Props & Hoses Poker Run, which starts at Beaver's at the Dam and ends on Redhead Yacht Club.

39th Annual HK's Hospital Benefit Golf Tournament - June 2-4

The 3-day premier tournament event at the Lake of the Ozarks kicks off Friday, June 2, at The Lodge with a VIP Party for major sponsors. A highlight of the weekend is the Pairing Party and Silent/Live Auction, taking place 5 p.m. Saturday, June 3, in the Lodge’s Campana Hall. There will be an auction of memorabilia, golfing packages, fine jewelry, trips and more. The tournament, a four-person scramble, is Sunday, June 4, at The Cove Golf Course. More than $100,000 in prizes will be available for participants, including pro shop certificates awarded to the top four teams in each flight, sponsored by Central Bank of Lake of the Ozarks, and a $10,000 putting contest, sponsored by Bank Star.

The Canine Cannonball - June 8-11

How far can your dog jump? The annual Dock Dogs jumping contest is held at Dog Days again this year. Canine athletes compete in Big Air, Extreme Vertical, and Speed Retrieve at this family friendly event. Free admission.

Aquapalooza 2017 - July 15

The Lake's Largest FAMILY Boating event will be held July 15th. The Lake of the Ozarks Marine Dealers invites ALL BOATERS to join them for a great day on the water. Live music and activities will keep you having fun all day long. On the Water Party at Dog Days Restaurant at the 19mm, just west of the Grand Glaize Bridge.

Lake of the Ozarks Shootout - August 26-27

The Lake of the Ozarks Shootout, held at Captain Ron's Bar & Grill and the 33MM-34.5MM, will bring top powerboat racers and off shore racing power boats from across the country, topping 200 MPH. The largest unsanctioned boat race in the Midwest with over 100 racers and 100,000 spectators. Proceeds will benefit the Lake Area Rescue Teams, and other charitable organizations! Make a whole week of it! Enjoy Shootout events happening all week leading up to the main event. Events include: R/C Mini Powerboats Shootout, Golf Tournament, Treasure Hunt, PWC Dam Run, Shootout Strip Street Party, Vendor Villages, Poker Runs, Live Entertainment and much more.

Christmas Events at the Lake of the Ozarks

The holiday season is a beautiful time of year at the Lake of the Ozarks! Every weekend throughout December offers a variety of family-fun Christmas events. Not only is the Lake the perfect place to spend the holidays, but it's central location makes it the perfect meeting place for friends and family. Christmas Village and Ice Skating at Old Kinderhook - Every Weekend Through Christmas

The Lake of the Ozarks only Christmas Village is at Old Kinderhook. We will have lots of fun activities, plus you can enjoy the Lake's only outdoor Ice Rink. Christmas activities include S'Mores around the fire pit, Christmas Carolers, Santa, Gingerbread House making, Horse Drawn Carriage Rides, Elf Storytelling and more. Christmas on Main Street - Runs Through December 18

The Main Street Music Hall is celebrating the spirit of the holidays with a Christmas on Main Street. Enjoy your favorite songs with a night of laughter, as Gabby Gumm and our talented cast gives you that warm fuzzy feeling you use to get when you were just a kid. Frosty Float - Sundays, December 4, 11 & 18

The Celebration Cruise boat will be selling tickets for $20 to go on a magical journey cruising the Lake of the Ozarks from 4 -6pm. The cruise will be a journey of fun children's activities and hot cocoa and cookies! Christmas carols will also fill the air while you gaze at the beautiful Christmas light displays, and of course Santa, will also be making an appearance as well! All of our little guests will receive a special gift from Santa!

Bluegrass Martins Christmas Concert - December 9-10

The Martin's will perform their first-ever Christmas themed show at the Royal Theatre in Versailles. All tickets are $15 and the show starts at 7pm each night.

Breakfast with Santa - December 10

Bring the kids to have breakfast with Santa at HK's located at the Lodge of Four Seasons at 9am.

Children's Christmas Play - December 10

Young Performers present “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” by Barbara Robinson at the Camden County Museum, performed by the Young Museum Players, followed by cookies and punch. Admission $5 per family and the show starts at 3:30pm.

Eldon Community Christmas - December 10

Christmas Parade starts at 3pm. Join us afterwards at Whittle's Pocket Park for a visit with Santa, hot chocolate and cookies until 6pm. Enjoy several church choirs and local performers, sing some Christmas Koraoke and watch the lighting of the big tree after dark.

Polar Express Movie Screening - December 10

This popular Tom Hanks movie will be screened on 12/10/16 at the Wehrenberg Theatre in Lake Ozark, MO. Children are invited to come in their pajamas and/or bathrobes for a visit with Santa at 9:00 a.m. and the movie will begin at 10:00 a.m. Admission is $10.00 for adults/Children K - 12th grade are $5.00 per person.

Free Annual Christmas Workshop - December 10

Join us for a fun morning at our Annual Christmas Workshop and Breakfast from 9am to 12pm. This free event includes breakfast of biscuits & gravy, or cereal, milk and juice, a children's craft workshop, a children's free gift shop where they can choose and wrap a gift for parents or caregivers, and a display of nativities from around the world.

Lake Ozark Christmas Parade - December 10

Celebrate the season with at the Annual Christmas parade along the Historic Bagnell Dam Strip from 3pm - 5pm. Immediately following the parade, Santa will greet kids and families for a bonfire at the top of the Bagnell Dam Strip at Two Bit Town! There will be treats for the kids, hot chocolate, coffee and refreshments, Christmas music and caroling and also the Parade Float winners will be announced!

Christmas for Kids - December 10

Enjoy an evening of entertainment with hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar and a silent auction at The Lodge of Four Seasons, while supporting Lake Area families in need this holiday season. Admission is $20.00/Person Donation Plus a NEW Unwrapped Toy. Cocktail party starts at 5:30pm, with dinner at 6:30pm; general admission starts at 7:30pm.

Old Tyme Christmas in Linn Creek- December 17

Join us for a full day of fun at the Camden County Museum. It will be a celebration of the Christmas season throughout the City of Linn Creek.

Christmas Dinner at J. Bruner's - December 24-25

Savor our full menu including our famous prime rib on Christmas Eve, or enjoy a traditional turkey dinner, prime rib, or your favorite selections from our menu on Christmas Day. The restaurant opens at 5pm on Christmas Eve and at 3pm on Christmas Day. Reservations are recommended.

Christmas Day Buffet at Tan-Tar-A - December 25

Join us for our famous Christmas Buffet, featuring Carved Ham with Bourbon Glaze Carved Prime Rib with Horseradish Cream Sage Roasted Turkey Pacific Whitefish with Basil & Roasted Red Pepper Aioli and much more. Dinner will be served from 11am - 5pm. Reservations are required; call 573-348-8619.
