Pat Pinzke Surpasses $1 Million in Sales!

On Monday June 5th, 2017, Your Lake Vacation reservationist, Pat Pinzke, joined the Million Dollar Club for surpassing $1,000,000.00 in sales for her career with the leading vacation rental company at the Lake ofthe Ozarks. Pinzke is only the second member of the exclusive club in the 31 year history of the company.

Pinzke, who is 78 years old, joined the Your Lake Vacation team in February of 2012 after a chance meeting with the owner of the company at a local restaurant. She was having lunch with her husband when Russell Burdette went over to say hello. Pat’s children and Russell had gone to high school together and Russell’s mom had previously worked with Pat at Water’s Edge Condominiums. Russell asked Pat what she was doing and she told him that she had just lost her job at the Chamber of Commerce where she had been working part time. Knowing that she had previous experience in the vacation rental industry, and with her experience of working at the Chamber, Russell invited her for an interview and the rest, as they say, is history.

Interestingly, Pat is primarily a part-time employee and was able to produce a million dollars in sales over the course of about five and a half years. Her accomplishment speaks to her dedication and longevity. Her motto is, “I have to book at least one reservation each day or I don’t feel like I am earning my pay.” The only other employee to achieve the same level of sales was Jennifer Powers (Garske) who worked full time for four years with Your Lake Vacation.

Pat was totally shocked and surprised as she was awarded her plaque at lunch, where she thought everyone was gathered to celebrate another employee’s birthday. The birthday celebration was halted and a cake was brought out. Pat was presented with her plaque and a $100.00 gift card for her achievement. Through tears she said that this was one of the best things that had ever happened to her.

Unfortunately, her husband Roy didn’t get to share in her achievement, as he had passed away in February. But we know that he would have been proud of her achievement. He was part of the company family and quite the character at the annual company Christmas party, where he could beat anyone at arm wrestling, even at over 80 years of age. And as a Chicago native, he was able to see his beloved Cubbies win their first world series in 108 years!

After the celebration, Pat said that she would start working on 2 million dollars in sales! Stop in at our vacation rental company in Osage Beach across from the outlet mall and congratulate Pat on her achievement!

For many people, decorating for Christmas is the best part about the holiday season. Lake Race 2015: June 6-7


Watch Power boats from all over compete for their share of the money. Viewing will be available on the Dam as well as many sponsoring establishments. Lake of the Ozarks Shootout: August 22-30

30th Annual Fall Harbor Hop: October 10 


Anyone can enter for a fun day on Lake of the Ozarks! Visit over 40 of our participating locations on the water to play your poker hand. Enter the Harbor hop by stopping at any of the check points. To obtain a hand, sign up and pay an optional $15 donation. Any player can enter more than once. The 1st card is drawn at the checkpoint where the hand is purchased; 6 additional cards are obtained by hopping to six more checkpoints drawing one card, per hand, at each location. The hand is complete when the 7th card is drawn. To qualify the hand must be turned in by 7pm at your last checkpoint. Winners will be notified by certified mail.

The main level features a lakeside dining room with deck access just off the kitchen, which includes all the amenities of home: refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and flat top ceramic ange with built in ventilation system.  All you need is to bring your food!  The lakeside Living Room features leather furniture, fire place, deck access, flat screen TV and wireless internet.  There is also a main level bedroom that has a twin bed with trundle, guest bath and access to the garage. 

Upper and Lower Levels 


The Upper level features 2 bedrooms.  The Moose Room features a Queen sized bed, while the Ski Room features a King sized bed. Bedrooms share a full sized bathroom as well. 

The Lower Level features a lakeside Family Room with fireplace, deck access, comfortable furniture and a wall-mounted flat screen TV.  The lakeside Master Bedroom features a Queen sized bed and full sized bathroom.  Also on the Lower Level is the Laundry and Utility Room with sink and an additional Hideaway Bedroom with a Full sized bed.  

Outdoors 


Outdoors features a full sized deck off the main level with seating for 10 and a Lower Level deck with conversation seating.  

While there is no dock at this time, the owners are working on obtaining and installing a dock soon!
