The Largest Boating Event at the Lake is BACK!!

Another great season at the Lake of the Ozarks is underway and that means it's time for one of our favorite annual events, Aquapalooza! The Lake's largest family boating event will be held on July 21st a Dog Days Bar & Grill.

The Lake of the Ozarks Marine Dealers Association invites all boaters to join them for a great day on the water at the 19 mile marker of the Lake of the Ozarks. Live music and activities will keep you having fun all day long!

Aquapalooza 2018

Hundreds of boats with thousands of people will line up in the water in front of Dog Days Bar & Grill for the largest on the water concert of the year! Come experience it for yourself. Check out this video for a taste of what you can expect at Aquapalooza 2018:

2018 Artist Lineup

The 2018 lineup will feature: Chad Bearden, i-Berrys, Ryan Collins Band and Goddesses of Rock. Learn more about these bands below:

Chad Bearden

Chad Bearden is a country artist from a small town in northern Alabama. He currently has an EP out with five songs on it. These songs combine Chad's country lyrics with an urban production and progressive melodies to create a sound all it's own. His lyrics incorporate life experiences that people can really relate to.

i-Berrys

Voted BEST Band at the Lake of the Ozarks, the i-Berrys Band is a 9-piece regional show band. The music and the show is unlike anything you've ever seen before, and it quickly becomes a favorite with every audience. They provide a unique, fun music experience that combines Irish, Celtic, Pop, Funk, Country and Rock with a little humor and style!

Ryan Collins Band

Missouri born and raised, Ryan Collins resides in Nashville, but hasn't forgotten his roots. This country music singer takes his love for music seriously, and he took it to the next step by forming a band. He brought together 4 life long friends to create a magnetic dynamic of talented musicians. Together they form a strong bond which leads to an original sound and energetic stage presence.

Goddesses of Rock

This year's headliner for Aquapalooza is the Goddesses of Rock! This band offers a tribute to female music icons. Dr. Zhivegas Memorial Day Weekend
Head over to the Horny Toad Entertainment Complex this Memorial Day Weekend as Dr. Zhivegas hits the outdoor stage to kick off the summer season. Music will run from 8pm to 12 am each night, May 25-27.

Dinner Theater
Enjoy dinner and a show at the Camden County Museum, May 25-26. The show is “Give My Regards To Broadway” by George M. Cohan. Dinner starts at 6 pm each night, and showtime is 7 pm. Alabama Live in Concert
ALABAMA is the band that changed everything. They brought country music to the mainstream and from side stage to the main stage. ALABAMA introduced rock style guitars, lights, pyrotechnics and sounds to the country audience. They have charted 43 #1 singles including 21 #1 singles in a row, a record that will likely never be surpassed in any genre. Come see them LIVE at the Ozarks Amphitheater on Saturday, May 26th at 7 pm.

The grand master includes french entry doors, laminate floors, ceiling fan, king sized bed, walk-in closet, flat screen TV, electric fireplace, slider entry to screened deck, private bathroom with jetted tub, large shower with grab bars and hand held shower head, toilet with grab bars and two sinks.

The second master bedroom features a king size bed, flat screen tv, closet, slider entry to deck, private bathroom with jetted tub, corner shower and 2 sinks. The third master features a queen size bed, flat screen TV with DVD player (no cable in this room), closet, private bathroom with tub/shower and two sinks. The fourth bedroom features a queen size bed, exterior entrance, closet and access to the guest bathroom.

The open kitchen has full-sized appliances including a flat-top range, microwave, side-by-side refrigerator with water and ice in the door, and dishwasher. All the things you will need to cook are provided if you choose to do so! The dining table is a square pub-height table that seats 8 comfortably for dining or game playing. There are an additional 4 bar stools located in the kitchen.

The living room features 2 large couches, chair and half with ottoman, flat screen TV, DVD player, surround sound with receiver, gas fireplace, 3 slider entrances to the screened deck and a wet bar.

Once outside, enjoy the 6-top table, 4-top table and 2 cushioned chairs, screened deck with roll down shades (you can still see through them), large gas grill with lights and rotisserie and the extra large refrigerator for all your extra drinks. Oh, and we don't want to forget to mention that there is a flat screen TV to watch the game while you also enjoy the 180 degree unobstructed view!

October is already coming to a close and it's time to put on your costumes and celebrate Halloween. Whether you have little ones or not, celebrating this holiday can be fun for all ages. Pumpkin Patch & Fall Attractions - October 28-29

Off Hwy 54 West of Camdenton sits MECCA Family Farm, where you will find a pumpkin patch and other fall attractions. Family activities include corn crib, corn cannon, big slide, face painting & photo ops, petting zoo, hay rides and a maize walk. The pumpkin patch will be open from 10 am - 5 pm.

Zombie Wasteland Haunted House - October 26-28

Survive a zombie wasteland with your family with lots of foam darts and a nerf gun of your choice! This is the scariest haunted house in mid-MO. Children must be accompanied by an adult. The haunted house is located at 474 S. Hwy 7 in Camdenton next to the airport. Tickets are $10 per person and proceeds will go to benefit Kids Harbor Child Advocacy Center. Zombie Wasteland opens at 7 pm.

Hy-Vee Holler Trick-or-Treat - October 26

Head over to the Hy-Vee parking lot for the annual Hy-Vee Hollow Trick-or-Treat event! This year it will be a food allergy friendly event. Each booth will have candy, as well as non-food treats! If your child has food allergies, they will be provided a teal bag or necklace at the entrance. Admission is $2 per child, and the proceeds will benefit two local organizations, The Dream Factory and Camp Wonderland. Refreshments will also be provided for the kids. The event runs from 4-7 pm and don't forget your costumes!

The Haunted Holler - October 27-28

The Haunted Holler is a quarter mile haunted trail in the woods. Admission is $10 per person on Friday and $15 per person on Saturday. It will be open from 8 pm to Midnight each night. The trail is located one mile behind Hy-Vee in Osage Beach. The trail is recommended for children ages 6 and older; children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Howl-O-Ween Festival - October 28

The 7th Annual Howl-O-Ween Festival will be at Dogwood Animal Shelter from 10 am to 2 pm. The event is free to attend, and is always a fun event for both two-legged and four-legged family members! Meet Captain Scalawag, Sparkie da Clown and DJ Gary Phillips. There will be a pet costume contest and other fun competitions, a raffle, grilled lunches available for purchase, local artists, crafters on site, a mini Dogwood Thrift Shop and so much more!

Halloween on the Bagnell Dam Strip - October 28

Celebrate Halloween on the Bagnell Dam Strip from 8 am to 9 pm. Starting at 8 am there will be a 3K Haunted Fun Run. Then enjoy a pancake breakfast from 9-11 am. Trick-or-Treating will run from 2-4 pm. Be sure to stop by Luby's Plaza for games of skill and a cookie walk. At 4 pm, theere will be a costume contest and pie eating contest at Luby's stage. Teens can enjoy a scary movie, bonfire and dance party from 5-8 pm. After 9 pm is when the adult fun begins with costume contests, bands and entertainment at participating establishments.

Kid's Halloween Spooktacular at Captain Ron's - October 29

Bring your little ghosts and goblins to Captain Ron's to grab some loot! Several local businesses will be handing out goodies from 5 - 6:30 pm.
