About Labor Day

Labor Day in the United States is a public holiday celebrated on the first Monday of September. It honors the American labor movement and the contributions that workers have made to the strength, prosperity, laws and well-being of the country. The first Labor Day holiday was celebrated on Tuesday, September 5, 1882, in New York City. Ten thousand workers marched in a parade from City Hall to Union Square. Following the march was a celebration with family and friends that included a picnic, concert and speeches. On June 28, 1884, Congress passed an act making the first Monday in September of each year a legal holiday in the District of Columbia and the territories.

The lakeside master suite features a queen sized bed and full sized bathroom. Also on the lower level is the laundry and utility room with sink and an additional hideaway bedroom with a full sized bed.

Outdoors you'll enjoy a full sized deck off the main level with seating for 10, and a lower level deck with conversation seating. The covered dock has a 14' x 42' boat slip and 2 jet ski lifts. This home is located on the 18 mile marker of the main channel and by land, in the heart of Osage Beach near all the shopping and dining!
