Lake Holiday Light Parks 
The Lake of the Ozarks is home to 4 different drive-thru holiday light parks. Each one has their own set of unique holiday light displays that the entire family will enjoy. While donations are gladly accepted, all these holiday light parks are free! The Enchanted Village of Lights at the Laurie Fairgrounds is open nightly from 5-9 pm, and 10 pm on weekends, now through January 1st. St. Patrick's Festival of Lights at the Shrine of St. Patrick in Laurie, MO is open nightly from 6-10 pm, now through January 1st. The Versailles Unity Circle of Lights at the Versailles City Park is open nightly from dusk until midnight, now through January 1st. The Osage Beach Holiday Lights at Osage Beach City Park is open nightly, now through December 31st.

Christmas Village at Old Kinderhook
Every weekend from now through Christmas Eve, the Christmas Village at Old Kinderhook will be open. Head on over to The Ice at Old Kinderhook for horse drawn carriage rides, gingerbread house decorating, tree lighting and trimming gatherings, Santa & Mrs. Clause, Elf storytelling, S'mores around the fire pit, Spa features, fun games for the family, great food and great company, and Ice Skating with a special guest.

Deck the Docks Holiday Light Cruises
The 7th Annual Deck the Docks Festival of Lights Cruises to benefit Dogwood Animal Shelter are underway! Cruises are happening each Wednesday, Friday and Saturday through December 30th. Tour the lake featuring sparkly docks and lakefront homes decorated for the holidays. Tickets are just $25 each. Reserve your spot today by calling 573-480-3212.

Christmas Dinners

Christmas Dinner at J. Bruner's
Enjoy your family without the fuss and mess! Let J. Bruner's prepare you a special holiday dinner with great steaks and seafood. The restaurant will open at 5pm on Christmas Eve and 3 pm on Christmas Day. Reservations are recommended. Call 573-348-2966.

Christmas Dinner at HK's Restaurant
HK's Restaurant at The Lodge of Four Seasons will be open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day from 3-9 pm. Call 573-365-3000 for reservations.

Christmas Day Buffet at Tan-Tar-A 
Head over to the Black Bear Lodge Restaurant at Tan-Tar-A Resort for their famous Christmas buffet! The restaurant will be open from 11 am to 4 pm. Reservations are required. Please call 573-348-8619.

Christmas Events at the Lake of the Ozarks

The holiday season is a beautiful time of year at the Lake of the Ozarks! Every weekend throughout December offers a variety of family-fun Christmas events. Not only is the Lake the perfect place to spend the holidays, but it's central location makes it the perfect meeting place for friends and family. Christmas Village and Ice Skating at Old Kinderhook - Every Weekend Through Christmas 

The Lake of the Ozarks only Christmas Village is at Old Kinderhook. We will have lots of fun activities, plus you can enjoy the Lake's only outdoor Ice Rink. Christmas activities include S'Mores around the fire pit, Christmas Carolers, Santa, Gingerbread House making, Horse Drawn Carriage Rides, Elf Storytelling and more. Christmas on Main Street - Runs Through December 18

The Main Street Music Hall is celebrating the spirit of the holidays with a Christmas on Main Street. Enjoy your favorite songs with a night of laughter, as Gabby Gumm and our talented cast gives you that warm fuzzy feeling you use to get when you were just a kid. Frosty Float - Sundays, December 4, 11 & 18

The Celebration Cruise boat will be selling tickets for $20 to go on a magical journey cruising the Lake of the Ozarks from 4 -6pm. The cruise will be a journey of fun children's activities and hot cocoa and cookies! Christmas carols will also fill the air while you gaze at the beautiful Christmas light displays, and of course Santa, will also be making an appearance as well! All of our little guests will receive a special gift from Santa!

Bluegrass Martins Christmas Concert - December 9-10

The Martin's will perform their first-ever Christmas themed show at the Royal Theatre in Versailles. All tickets are $15 and the show starts at 7pm each night.

Breakfast with Santa - December 10 

Bring the kids to have breakfast with Santa at HK's located at the Lodge of Four Seasons at 9am. 

Children's Christmas Play - December 10 

Young Performers present “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” by Barbara Robinson at the Camden County Museum, performed by the Young Museum Players, followed by cookies and punch. Admission $5 per family and the show starts at 3:30pm.

Eldon Community Christmas - December 10 

Christmas Parade starts at 3pm. Join us afterwards at Whittle's Pocket Park for a visit with Santa, hot chocolate and cookies until 6pm. Enjoy several church choirs and local performers, sing some Christmas Koraoke and watch the lighting of the big tree after dark.

Polar Express Movie Screening - December 10 

This popular Tom Hanks movie will be screened on 12/10/16 at the Wehrenberg Theatre in Lake Ozark, MO. Children are invited to come in their pajamas and/or bathrobes for a visit with Santa at 9:00 a.m. and the movie will begin at 10:00 a.m. Admission is $10.00 for adults/Children K - 12th grade are $5.00 per person.

Free Annual Christmas Workshop - December 10

Join us for a fun morning at our Annual Christmas Workshop and Breakfast from 9am to 12pm. This free event includes breakfast of biscuits & gravy, or cereal, milk and juice, a children's craft workshop, a children's free gift shop where they can choose and wrap a gift for parents or caregivers, and a display of nativities from around the world.

Lake Ozark Christmas Parade - December 10 

Celebrate the season with at the Annual Christmas parade along the Historic Bagnell Dam Strip from 3pm - 5pm. Immediately following the parade, Santa will greet kids and families for a bonfire at the top of the Bagnell Dam Strip at Two Bit Town! There will be treats for the kids, hot chocolate, coffee and refreshments, Christmas music and caroling and also the Parade Float winners will be announced!

Christmas for Kids - December 10 

Enjoy an evening of entertainment with hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar and a silent auction at The Lodge of Four Seasons, while supporting Lake Area families in need this holiday season. Admission is $20.00/Person Donation Plus a NEW Unwrapped Toy. Cocktail party starts at 5:30pm, with dinner at 6:30pm; general admission starts at 7:30pm.

Old Tyme Christmas in Linn Creek- December 17 

Join us for a full day of fun at the Camden County Museum. It will be a celebration of the Christmas season throughout the City of Linn Creek.

Christmas Dinner at J. Bruner's - December 24-25

Savor our full menu including our famous prime rib on Christmas Eve, or enjoy a traditional turkey dinner, prime rib, or your favorite selections from our menu on Christmas Day. The restaurant opens at 5pm on Christmas Eve and at 3pm on Christmas Day. Reservations are recommended.

Christmas Day Buffet at Tan-Tar-A - December 25

Join us for our famous Christmas Buffet, featuring Carved Ham with Bourbon Glaze Carved Prime Rib with Horseradish Cream Sage Roasted Turkey Pacific Whitefish with Basil & Roasted Red Pepper Aioli and much more. Dinner will be served from 11am - 5pm. Reservations are required; call 573-348-8619.

Holiday celebrations at the Lake of the Ozarks are underway!  Christmas light displays are popping up all around the Lake area.  Your Lake Vacation is here to help you with all your holiday plans!  If you're vacationing at the Lake of the Ozarks this Holiday season, be sure to check out these awesome light displays and other Christmas activities!

Enchanted Village of Lights (Open Nightly Now through Jan 1) 

The Enchanted Village of Lights is one of the largest drive-through holiday light parks in Mid-Missouri. There is no charge to drive through the Enchanted Village, but any donations are greatly appreciated.  Hours of operation are 5-9 PM each night through January 1, 2015.

Versailles Unity Circle of Lights (Nov 27 through Jan 1)

For the 8th straight season, the city of Versailles will light up its city park for the Unity Circle of Lights. The holiday light park is named after the "Unity Circle," a monument erected at the park entrance to show cooperation among various entities in the community.  The Unity Circle of Lights is located at the junction of Highways 5 and 52 and will feature as many as 40 lighted displays, including several animated holiday scenes for the family. The park is open from dark until midnight and admission is free.

Deck the Docks Holiday Light Cruises (Nov 28 - Dec 27) 

Take a festive dinner cruise aboard Celebration Cruises to view waterfront homes and docks beautifully decorated for the Holiday Season. Cruises board Friday & Saturday evenings at 5:30 pm on the following dates: November: 28th; 29th and December: 5th; 12th; 13th; 19th; 26th; 27th. Call 573-480-3212 for reservations. Proceeds benefit Dogwood Animal Shelter of Osage Beach, MO.

St. Patrick's Festival of Lights (Nov 27 - Jan 1) 

The Festival of Lights at the Shrine of St. Patrick, Hwy 5, Laurie, is the oldest light park in the area. It was started in 1981 with hundreds of lights decorating the buildings and grounds and has continued to grow each year. With 4,000 strings of lights, over 60 automatic timers and more than 350 extension cords, the Festival of Lights has turned into one of the major places to see. St. Patrick Festival of Lights will be open daily from 6 – 10 p.m. There is no charge for this beautiful light display.

Versailles Olde Fashioned Christmas on the Square (Nov 29) 

From 5-8 PM, booth vendors will be situated outside around the historic Courthouse Square, Versailles Choir to sing on Courthouse steps, Santa arrives on the Versailles Rural Fire Department Fire Engine. Sit on Santa's lap at the Royal Theater. View and bid on the Silent Auction items in the Annex of the Royal Theater. More questions, please call the Chamber office at 573-378-4401.

'The Nutcracker' Ballet (Nov 29 - 30) 

Two days only, Saturday, November 29th at 6pm and Sunday November 30th at 2pm, Steps will be hosting their 15th season of ‘The Nutcracker’ at School of the Osage, Cummings Auditorium located in Osage Beach, Missouri. Tchaikovsky’s ‘Nutcracker’ ballet will be performed by the many talented ballet dancers of Steps Dance Studio and also includes talented dancers from Xanadu Dance Studio in Camdenton who have joined in the Steps production this year.  Reserved tickets are $12-$15 snd general admission is $10.

Annual Lighted Christmas Parade (Nov 29) 

The Lake West Chamber will present the 13th annual Lighted Christmas Parade on Saturday, November 29 beginning at 6 p.m. at the Central Bank in Laurie location and travel north on Hwy 5 to the Laurie Mall. Santa will be on a float and will disembark and go inside the mall to visit with all the kids.

Greater Lake Area Chorale Christmas (Nov 30 - Dec 15)

The Greater Lake Area Chorale present it's 2014 Fall Concert Series "The World for Christmas" directed by Michael Lindeman. Concert is free to public; donations are welcomed.  Dates and locations are as follows: Nov 30 from 3-5 PM at West Lake Christian Church, Dec 7 from 3-5 PM at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Lake Ozark, Dec 8 from 7-9 PM at the First Baptist Church in Eldon, Dec 14 from 3-5 PM at the New Life Nazarene in Camdenton and Dec 15 from 7-9 PM at the Versailles United Methodist Church.

Lake Area Community Orchestra Performance (Nov 30 - Dec 2)

About 45 participants ranging in age from high school to the 70's make up this orchestra and come from many communities surrounding the Lake of the Ozarks area.  Included in the program are a variety of Christmas and other selections, including Christmas Fancies, Joy to the World, Adventum, Still, Still, Still (with Melody Hannah of Eldon as vocalist), A Trumpeter's Lullaby, and a 75th anniversary tribute of The Wizard of Oz.  Performances will be Nov 30 at 7 PM at Community Christian Church in Camdenton and Dec 2 at 7:30 PM at the First Baptist Church in Eldon.

Christmas on the Square (Dec 6) 

Enjoy a fun filled day with the family on the square in Camdenton. Santa will be present, along with food, games, vendor booths and much more. For more information go to www.camdentonchamber.com.

Eldon Business Windows & Tree Lighting Ceremony (Dec 13) 

Come join us from 6-8 PM for a hayride or walk to view the "Windows Coming Alive" at the downtown businesses. Listen to the Carolers, refreshments & snacks, a toy drive and a drop off for letters to Santa at the Eldon Community Center. Bring an ornament for the Community Tree and end the night with the Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Pocket Park on Maple St. This is event is sponsored by the City of Eldon.

Old Tyme Christmas in Linn Creek (Dec 13) 

The Young Museum Players will present “I Hate Christmas” by Marty Dubatschek. The play will begin at 2 pm followed by light refreshments. Admission is $5 per family. For more information call 573-346-7191.

Lake Ozark Christmas Parade (Dec 13) 

Celebrate the season with at the Annual Christmas parade along the Historic Bagnell Dam Strip from 1-3 PM. The 30th Annual Lake Ozark "Christmas Magic" Parade will line up at 242 starting at t he HH & Bagnell Dam Blvd. intersection, and will turn right to proceed down Bagnell Dam Boulevard to the Dam. Again this year, Santa will be available immediately after the Parade at the White House on Bagnell Dam Blvd. for pictures with the children. Christmas Stockings, will be handed out to all the children who stop to see him, and hot chocolate and cookies will be served to all waiting in line to see Santa!
